The Fellowship

Eligibility

You are a citizen of India or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
You are fluent in English.
You have completed all coursework required for your undergraduate degree by June 2023.

Stages of Selection

1. Application Form And Online Test

Showcase your past experiences and motivations for joining the Fellowship. Within 72 hours of submitting the form, submit a 25-minute online test that assesses your English language ability.

2. Phone Interview

If we need any clarifications on your application form, we will invite you to a 30-minute phone interview.

3. Assessment Centre

This is the final stage of the selection process. Here, you will learn more about Teach For India and the Fellowship. You will get the opportunity to showcase your competencies and demonstrate why you would be an excellent Fellow through multiple activities, including a sample teaching activity, group activity, critical-thinking activity, and an interview.

Placement Cities

You may choose to indicate a placement preference during your selection process. While we cannot guarantee this, we try to match your preference to the needs of our schools and cities.
